Outside of box has just a couple of very minor dings and scratches. The edge of the board, however, has an issue with the veneer splitting and lifting. Most of it is still intact and could possible be glued or shellacked back down. Without intervention, the veneer will begin to come off. Please look closely at photos. It is an extremely heavy set, weighing 8.5 pounds before packaging and therefore shipping is bound to be expensive.
