I bought this about 20 years ago and then it had a made in France label on it. It matches very closely the other wooden chess sets that I see online made by Staunton, but I cannot verify that. Please note the following: -one black pawn is missing -one black pawn has a chipped ring -one tan pawn has a small chip in the ring -the black queen has a slight curve -the box has a crack in the bottom There may be other slight imperfections . Please look at photos carefully. This is sold as is. No returns.
