Vintage Mid Century Inlaid Marquetry Backgammon Chess Board Case. It measures 19" x 9.5" (19" when open) x 3". Handmade and beautifully done, especially the backgammon board. There is marquetry on both boards. High quality wood. There is a complete set of handmade pieces for backgammon. There is also a plastic set of chess pieces (incomplete). They are nothing fancy. The chess board has some wear as it is on the outside of the case. There are some scratches/scuffs, watermarks, and paint splatter (comes off with a fingernail).Likely made by a woodworker in the US.
