Here offered is a lovely Vintage chess set probably dating from around 1970-80s or so this magnificent chess set was turned from solid brass and stainless steel, with a modern design which is Staunton variation easy to distinguish the ranks, very elegant on display also functional, the pieces are baized with thick black felts, am not sure about the origin or the maker Perhaps Italian? but I can tell you that is a Quality chess set, the King stand at 75mm or 3" without the bottom felt the base is 22mm the king weigh 100gr, the Pawn is 45mm without felt the base is 21mm and the unwrapped weight come at 2.181kg in my scale the come with a presantation display box probably home made from wood and there are shaped niches for each piece, nice for store and display the box dimension are 5 x 31 x 5cm , the combined weight before packagging is 3.
