You are the head of a fief and its future is in your hands. Will you be a benevolent Lord who builds ramparts and protects his villages? Will you develop agriculture using fields and mills? Or will you become a godly Lord builder of churches? Perhaps you prefer to feast in your sumptuous palaces? Or will you go to war recruiting from your barracks?
In turn, each player selects a tile by positioning his Lord pawn on it. He adds it to his Fief, triggers the effects, and positions itself on the next tile line. There are 8 different tiles representing the various elements of the medieval city: field, farm, village, rampart, market, barracks, church, palace.
Each is associated with scoring, often dependent on other tiles and some trigger interractive effects (attack other players, reserve tiles) or allowing combos (increase revenue). Once each player has collected their 16th tile, the lord with the most successful Fief wins the game.
