Who will have the least splash at the end of the inning? Each player receives a series of 12 duck cards, bearing a number from 1 to 12, shuffles them and places them in front of him, randomly into a grid of 4 out of 3 cards. In addition to the number and a hilarious illustration (each of the 7 sets of ducks is on a specific theme), each card also has a splash value of 0 to 5, at the bottom right.
A Captain is designated. He draws one by one of the numbered cards from a pickaxe. Each player moves the corresponding duck and covers another of their adjacent cards, or puts it elsewhere without covering. If the number called is not playable, because the corresponding card has already been covered by the player, he must say 'corner'. If all players do the same, the card is set aside. At the end of a certain number of cards thus discarded the round ends. Each makes the total of visible splash values. After 3 innings, the winner is the player with the lowest cumulative score
Everyone has to arrange to cover the biggest splashes with smaller ones and if possible to have only one stack of cards left at the end of the round.
