Purchased in France from a flea market some years ago. I was told it was from the 70s No makers marks so I’m guessing French ! This is a glazed terracotta body chess set. The glazes are a greeny celadon and tenmoku type brown. The kings are 9 cm and the base is 3.5 cm in diameter All pieces have their baize base and have no chips or cracks. Please note there is no board or box with this set.
