This set has never been used. The exterior box is a little rough as you can see. The outer covering has come loose from the box. There is a $720 price tag on the box. This is probably from the late 70s or early 80s. I’m not sure. It may be From a family trip to Italy back in the 80s The pieces look like Roman soldiers to me One of the checkers pieces is missing. There’s only 23. Some of the felt has come undone from the bottom of the pieces. A few are missing.
