This wonderful Chess & Backgammon Set comes with an overlay design made from Khatam. This is of course not a solid wood inlay but an overlay effect. Layered with varnish and a smooth glossy finish.
MDF parts are profiled into various forms and measurements, then wrapped with PU glue and wood-decorated or plain colored alkorcell foils, enhancing aesthetic appeal.
Neodymium Magnets replace traditional metal clips for a secure closure, ensuring reliability and ease of use.
Inner and outer playing surfaces are treated with a High Glossy (95%) Acrylic UV Cured Varnish, providing a non-yellowing, solvent-free, and durable finish.
