Here is a set of vintage 1945 Hand-Carved Imported Chessmen made in France by the E. S. Lowe Company. The set comes in the original wooden box and instructions which is dated 1945. The instructions does have some tears and the box has a tiny chip on one edge. The chest pieces ranges from approximately 1" - 2 1//4" tall.
